From Skill to Profit Project
A project that works with 600 young men and women from Qena and Luxor Governorates to empower them in the fields of cinema, theater, and technology. The project is supported by the Drosos Foundation.

“Ana Masry” Organizes Exchange Visits to Cultural and Artistic Institutions in Cairo to Foster Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
As part of its commitment to broadening youth horizons and strengthening ties with key institutions in the fields of arts and culture, Ana Masry Association organized a series of field visits to leading cultural and artistic organizations in Cairo. These visits included members of the association’s board, team members, and youth from the “From Skill to Profit” project.
The visits aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange and explore opportunities for collaboration with institutions that empower youth and support creativity in its various forms.
These interactive tours provided participants with valuable exposure to diverse institutional experiences, allowing them to learn about operational models and program offerings, thereby enriching their understanding of the role of arts in community development.
Ana Masry Association affirms its continued commitment to fostering learning and connection as a key step toward building an aware, creative generation capable of making a positive impact in their communities.

Honoring the Youth of “From Skill to Profit”… Celebrating Achievements and Launching Initiatives
In an atmosphere full of pride and honor, the “From Skill to Profit” project celebrated a group of outstanding young people who proved that learning is the first step towards real change.
During a special ceremony, several participants were honored—not only for acquiring skills but also for turning their knowledge into concrete practical steps and achieving successes both within and beyond the project, becoming role models of determination and hard work.
In a joyful and enthusiastic moment, contracts were signed and cheques were handed over to the winning initiatives—creative projects that combine art, awareness, and social impact, reflecting the spirit and mission of the project to empower youth and motivate them to make real change in their communities.
Every idea launched today is the start of a bigger dream… and every step taken brings us closer to the reality we aspire to.

This honoring and the launching of initiatives came as recognition of their efforts and encouragement for other participants to continue striving to achieve their dreams.

Cinema Training
Ana Masry Launches Intensive Short Film Training as Part of the “From Skill to Profit” Project
As part of empowering youth and developing their creative skills, Ana Masry Association organized a specialized training in short film production within the activities of the “From Skill to Profit” project.
The training covered multiple aspects of the filmmaking process, from scriptwriting, directing, and cinematography to editing, under the supervision of esteemed film director Muhannad Diab and veteran director Mahmoud Abdelrahim. They shared their expertise with participants, opening new horizons in the world of visual art.
This training aims to refine young talents and equip them with practical tools to transform their ideas and stories into impactful artistic works carrying meaningful social messages.
The artistic works produced from this training are expected to be unveiled soon, showcasing a blend of passion, skill, and social impact.
