Sports Activities

Ana Masry organizes a comprehensive sports day in Nagada to promote social inclusion and empower diverse groups.

In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and cooperation, Ana Masry Association for Development and Training held a special sports day at the Nagada Sports Club as part of the “Empowering Local Communities and Inclusion” project activities. The event targeted youth, girls, and people with disabilities, combining entertainment with meaningful social messages.

The event saw wide participation from both genders and many people with disabilities, practically emphasizing the importance of diversity and inclusiveness in community activities. It aimed to promote values of cooperation, respect, and equality, while spreading the culture of social inclusion and highlighting sports as an effective tool for raising awareness on community issues.

This activity is part of the “Empowerment” project implemented by the association in Qena governorate under the umbrella of the Life Makers Foundation, in joint cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), acting on behalf of the German government, and jointly funded by the European Union through the “Equal Opportunities and Social Development” project.

This sports day embodied the project’s vision for a more just and inclusive society, where every individual, regardless of their abilities, plays a pivotal role in building and development.

Together toward a society that respects and values every individual.
