“Ana Masry” organizes the first activities of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

In the framework of our commitment to supporting women’s rights and enhancing their physical, psychological, and digital safety, the Ana Masry Association for Development and Training – Qena Governorate is launching its 2025 awareness campaign during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign. The campaign is implemented through the “Enhancing Community Action to Combat Violence Against Women in Upper Egypt” project, in cooperation with the Spanish Government and the Spanish foundation, CODESPA (or CONIMUND), and executed by the Juzoor Foundation for Development. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the seriousness of violence against women in all its forms, especially digital violence, and to provide educational content that helps women and girls prevent violence and deal with its effects.

The campaign seeks to

Raise community awareness of the various forms of violence, including psychological, digital, and economic violence.

Provide awareness and guidance content that helps women protect themselves in the digital space and deal with pressures consciously and with stability.

Emphasize the role of society in supporting women and providing a safe and respectful environment in all fields.

Encourage reporting and support by enhancing knowledge of safe channels for help and assistance.

The Ana Masry Association for Development and Training – Qena Governorate confirms that combating violence against women is a shared responsibility that requires cooperation from all segments of society, and that spreading awareness is a fundamental pillar in building a safe and stable community for women and girls.

In conclusion, the Association calls upon all segments of society to participate in the campaign’s events and support its message, for a future free of violence, in which women enjoy their full rights to safety and respect.
